Virginia Tech guaranteed admission requirements*

  • Earn your RBC Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree
  • Earn a 3.4 cumulative GPA

  • Receive grades of C or better for any and all courses

  • Successful completion of specific prerequisite courses and any other requirements as outlined in the articulation agreement

  • Transfer in Fall (Spring transfers by availability)


 Academic programs for transfer students

The guaranteed transfer agreement provides admission into the following Colleges:

  • Agriculture and Life Sciences
  • Business

  • Engineering

  • Liberal Arts & Human Sciences

  • Natural Resources & Environment
  • Science
  • Urban Studies


The agreement excludes programs in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Landscape Architecture, Agriculture (undecided), and University Studies.
