University of Virginia academic transfer requirements*

  • Earn your RBC Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree
  • Earn a 3.4 cumulative GPA (with no grade lower than a C in any course)

  • Completed application, including SAT/ACT and TOEFL/IELTS scores

  • Successful completion of specific prerequisite courses and any other requirements as outlined in the articulation agreement 


Academic programs for transfer students

The guaranteed transfer agreement provides admission into University of Virginia’s College of Arts & Sciences. Students interested in Architecture, Business, Education or Engineering must meet any additional requirements and file

a separate transfer application to be considered for admission.
