Policies & Procedures

To comply with legislative requirements, RBC and GSSP have various policies and procedures in place to include privacy, academic misconduct, academic probation and dismissal, and behavioral misconduct.

Privacy Act

RBC is bound by the Privacy Act which regulates the way private sector organizations can collect, use and disclose personal information. RBC may also be required to adhere to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Code of Conduct

The Code of Student Conduct provides a framework of standard acceptable behavior for students. Students are responsible for understanding and complying with this Code.

All students studying at RBC have the right to be treated with respect and courtesy by RBC and GSSP staff and fellow students in an environment free from harassment and conducive to learning.

RBC expects you to abide by the Code of Conduct by accepting responsibility for your behavior and conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times, treating fellow students and staff with respect, honesty and courtesy.

Grievance Procedures, Appeals or Complaints

RBC has policies and procedures for dealing with student complaints, grievances and appeals in a constructive and timely manner.

Access and Equity

RBC is committed to equal opportunity for all students to ensure that no student is denied access to a program or is disadvantaged.

All RBC staff are responsible for ensuring that any student with disabilities is treated with dignity and courtesy and given every opportunity to reach their full educational potential.
